TEACHING PLAN & CURRICULUM

In Future School, they still follow the K-12 Curriculum, however, compared to the Philippines, their way of categorizing the grade level is a bit different. They have Kindergarten, followed by the Primary Education which is composed of Grades 1-5. Next to that, is the Secondary High School which starts from Grade 6 until Grade 9. Lastly, they have the High School which is composed of Grade 10-12. While in the Philippines, Kindergarten is followed by the Primary Education, which starts from Grades 1 to 6, Grades 7 to 10 for the Secondary High School, and Grades 11 to 12 for Senior High School.

On my end, I have made 2 lesson plans. My first topic was Giving Directions (Vocabulary) which I taught to 3 classes, and the last one was the Present-Simple (Grammar), the only topic that I taught to Grade 7 learners. I have made 1 lesson plan for 3 sections, and 1 lesson plan for 1 section. In my teaching plan, I put forth the learning objectives. I organized my activities well and made sure that each will be followed and well- presented. With the help of my teaching assistant and Ms. Ana, our cooperating teacher in Tuong Lai, I was able to push everything through. I can really say that teaching plan or lesson plan plays a pivotal role in the field of teaching.
