I am Edrian Luga, a 4th year Bachelor of Secondary Education- Major in English student at University of Mindanao Tagum College, Tagum City, Davao del Norte, Philippines.

Immersing myself in an international spectrum was just a dream back then, but never did I expect for an opportunity to knock on my doors, and never did I expect that it would come out like this. So far, this academic internationalization was the greatest plot twist that happened in my life, and no words could ever compare to this. There, I met numerous friendly and amazing people from Indonesia, Laos, and Korea. The bond that we have made with the people we met in Vietnam is a true manifestation that despite the differences, be it in culture, language, and nationality, education is a lifetime bridge more than worth crossing, for the benefit of genuine connection and holistic improvement.

 

In this blog, you will also see how mesmerized I am with my first travel abroad. It was not just about my academic experiences, but also of the cultural exchange and a lot more. Embedded here also are photos and writings, which are concrete proofs that my life's canvas is now more colorful than how it was before. I took the risk, a beautiful one, and grabbed the chance. Now, I’ll forever carry with me the hues I dipped myself into in the previous episodes of my series.
